All That is She laying in bed holding book over her face

If you have kids in your life, you know that one of the richest gifts we can offer is instilling the love of reading.  It’s been said that if a child loves reading then they will develop a thirst for knowledge and a love of learning.  Reading stimulates a child’s imagination and encourages them to form a positive association with books.  But what do you do when you’re sick of the all the traditional stories and nursery rhymes?  Are there books out there that are actually enjoyable for the adult with a message we can get behind?  Thanks to Dominique Davis of All That Is She for sharing her list of the top 5 books you’ll actually want to read to your children.  We recently spoke with Dom on our podcast (listen here) and deeply enjoyed hearing her story.  Make sure to give it a listen and hear about how she got started and transformed her business into a creative’s dream business.

Shout out to all the parents out there, these 5 books are funny, educational, and engaging.  Experts say we should read to our children 30 minutes per day and if we’re going to hit that mark we definitely need some good reads.  These books are a refreshing departure from the norm and will inspire creativity in both the child and reader.  For all the details and even some fun video’s of Dominique flipping through the books, visit her site All That Is She.
