It was an absolute joy speaking with Michelle Smith. She is the creator of the popular food blog, The Whole Smiths. She also recently published her first cookbook which is the first-ever Whole30 endorsed. She is a wife and mom to two beautiful girls and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area. Becoming a mother lit a fire in her to start seriously paying more attention to the foods she and her family were eating. After dabbling with a paleo lifestyle she rapidly saw improvement in her family’s overall health and was hooked. Shortly thereafter, she discovered Whole30 and became a real proponent of the program.
Michelle is passionate to share all she’s learned and decided early on to start a food blog and share the recipes that she was creating for her family. Her blog focuses on real, minimally processed, nutrient dense foods and modern day family life. What’s more, it’s a tremendous resource for anyone looking for Whole30 support. Michelle is incredibly down to earth, authentic, and fun. She’s passionate about the food we eat and she wants everyone to know that eating wholesome doesn’t have to be boring and pretentious. Listen in to hear the story of her deciding to start her blog, what inspires her, plus some fun details like her love of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules.
