When you picture a beautiful soul-filling dinner party, what meal comes to mind?  We recently had Teri Turner of No Crumbs Left back on the podcast (listen here) and she says the keys to creating an evening to remember are equal parts quality guests, a beautiful table, and soulful food.  It’s a good idea to have a few no-fail meals in your back pocket and Teri’s roasted grapefruit chicken is perfection.  Her blog delivers whole food recipes made with love and packed with flavor.  She makes getting into the kitchen seem effortless and achievable, as her mantra suggest “Don’t be afraid to fail, it’s just food”.  Also, don’t forget to get your hands on her new cookbook, No Crumbs Left – Recipes for Everyday Food Made Marvelous It will quickly become a much-used favorite.

This roast chicken recipe is a cookbook sneak preview and if you’ve been following Teri over the years, you know one of her greatest talents is her roasted chicken.  This specific recipe calls for grapefruit juice but any citrus would work beautifully.  Teri’s roasting technique delivers tender juicy chicken, crispy salty skin, and tons of flavor.  It’s a perfect center piece for a dinner party or wonderful for feeding your family on a simple night in.  For all the recipe notes and a how-to video, you can visit her post here.  This roast chicken screams love to all who enjoy.
